Integrity Education Theme Month
So as to improve students’ credit consciousness and construct an honest campus culture, Anqing Foreign Language School earnestly organized various forms of content-rich student financial assistance activities, other known as ‘Integrity Education Theme Month’.
Initially, on 23rd May, Anqing Foreign Language School observed the grand launching ceremony of integrity education theme month of student financial assistance. Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli and Mr. Xu Haihong in charge of the Support Center attended the ceremony.
To be specific, at the beginning of the ceremony, the host briefly introduced the implementation status of our school’s student financial aid, which was carried out on the basis of students’ honesty and trustworthiness, emphasizing the significance of honesty. Also, school funding was supposed to let honesty flow in people’s blood and transform integrity education into self-conscious attainment and behavior. Afterwards, student Pei Dandan from Class 6, Grade 10 and teacher Huang Xiandan respectively made brilliant speeches on how to let integrity become a habit.
After the launching ceremony, Anqing Foreign Language School proceeded a series of honesty-credit education activities. For instance, integrity-themed class meetings and blackboard newspaper appraisal were conduced in Grades 10& 11. Head teachers from Grade 12 presented a brief introduction to students who were about to graduate the policies and application procedures of financial aid for freshmen with family financial difficulties. On the other hand, head teachers played the advertising videos of ‘Student Credit Loan System Initiated by China Development Bank’ and ‘Student Credit Loan to Help Others’.
In addition, Anqing Foreign Language School would successively implement honesty-themed knowledge contest and funding essays with the subject of ‘Integrity, Gratitude, Dreams--Whose Youth Does Not Struggle’, which would fully demonstrate the favorable mental outlook of our students who were not afraid of difficulties and strived hard to be better and self-independent. What’s more, the Support Center would organize the aid-receiving students to sign the ‘Letter of Commitment for Aid-Receiving Students’.
Overall, this themed event played a significant role in implementing the publicity of financial aid policies and cultivating students’ good faith quality.
